Bob Fisler

Bob Fisler came to Fullerton by way of Southeast Asia, Madison Wisconsin and Venezuela. He finished schooling to be an engineer in 1933; not a good time to be looking for work. So he and a friend went to find work in the oil fields and companies working in Venezuela. But he was put to work there as a teacher of Physics. During the previous year he taught in Madison for $900 a year. He was first hired to teach in Fullerton at Nicholas JR High when it opened in 1955 and eventually sat on the School Board.
